The Story Behind the Camera - Westchester's Go-To Photographer for Cake Smash, Family & Newborn Photography

Hi Everyone!

I'm an award-winning photographer based in Port Chester, NY, proudly serving families throughout Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT.    I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. Honestly, my family probably thought I was a little annoying because I always had to stop everyone for "just one more picture." Birthday parties, holidays, random Tuesdays...if it was happening, I wanted to capture it.

Then my mom bought me my first DSLR.

That changed everything.

What started as a hobby quickly turned into a career doing what I love most: preserving the moments families wish they could freeze forever.

Why I Love What I Do

If you've spent any time on my website, you've probably noticed I have a slight obsession with Cake Smash Sessions.

Okay...maybe more than slight.

There's something magical about watching a baby's curiosity turn into frosting-covered laughter. No two sessions are ever the same, and that's exactly why I love them.

But Cake Smash Sessions aren't just for first birthdays.   They're for celebrating milestones, personalities, and all the little moments that deserve to be remembered, no matter how old your child is.    Milestone Sessions have my heart for the very same reason.   Whether it's sitting up for the first time, showing off those tiny new teeth, or simply capturing who they are in this season of life, these are the moments that disappear before we realize it.

And while Cake Smashes may be my specialty, I also love photographing families and newborns because every chapter deserves to be remembered.

My Approach

I don't expect toddlers to sit still.   I don't expect babies to smile on cue.   And I definitely don't expect dads to love taking pictures.

My sessions are relaxed, playful and full of laughter because that's when the real moments happen.

My goal isn't perfection.

It's connection.

The best photos always come from families simply being themselves.

Why Port Chester Will Always Be Home

Growing up in Port Chester makes what I do even more meaningful.    I get to photograph families in the same community I grew up in and watch so many of them return year after year.    Some of the babies I photographed over a decade ago are now big kids, and being invited back to capture each new chapter is one of the greatest compliments I could ever receive.

A Few Things You Should Know About Me

When I'm not behind the camera...

You'll probably find me yelling at the Yankees like they can somehow hear me.

Coffee isn't optional.

Candles are a slight addiction. (Okay...a serious addiction.)

And yes, I absolutely laugh at my own jokes.    Someone has to.

More than anything, I love creating an experience that families actually enjoy.

Because years from now, I don't just want you to love your photos.

I want you to remember how much fun you had making them.
